Bahria University was established by the Pakistan Navy in 2000, and since then it has steadily grown into one of the leading higher education institutes in Pakistan.It plays a major role in grooming future leaders who can make a positive difference to the world.
A cool facade is the representation of the Architect's creative vision and desire to impress with something unique and out of the ordinary. This building is supposed to accommodate basically two functions one is library and the other is academic facilities. Accordingly, the levels of the proposed building have been so adjusted that the entrance to the library and associated facilities is entirely separate and direct from the lawn area. Whereas the main approach to the academic facilities is at upper ground floor which is accessible from the wide gentle steps leading from main lawn to the building.

Bahria University is one of the leading public sector universities of Pakistan, which is dedicated to meet many complex challenges facing us today. The university has campuses, research institutes and colleges all over Pakistan which work towards grooming today’s youth into becoming tomorrow’s leaders. Bahria university building No 3 comprises of 2 major activities first 4 floors are comprehensive university having multidisciplinary programs that includes Health Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Computer Sciences and Management Sciences. The hostel facility comprises the last two floors of the Campus 3 building. It has the capacity to accommodate 140 students.
Direct access to the hostel is through a single entry point, which is manned around the clock by a dedicated security guard; access from the lower floors, which consist of classrooms & staff rooms, is restricted. Hostel rooms (with two, three or four beds) are centrally air-conditioned / heated with single beds and a mattress, a computer / writing table with chair and cupboard for clothes and storage of linen for each resident.

Curved forms are fluidic, and they are influenced by nature, which allows them to blend into the surrounding landscape.
Curved buildings have naturally enhanced shading ability, and better air quality. Perhaps the most appealing feature of curved buildings is their strength and inherent ability to resist pressure from external forces. The curvature of the room means the structure can deflect strong gusts, giving them greater wind resistance than other shaped structures.
The building would have 7 Departments which includes Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Forensic Med & Com. Med departments having 3 lecture halls each capacity of 150 MBBS students.

Its a Competition winning project, Breath taking façade and interior with a unique Architecture which breaks away from common design and traditional aesthetics marvelous entrance is created for first floor with wider stairs is a special feature of the building. Thick plaster grooves with the grey colour combination with dark black colour windows enhance the beauty of the building

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) has been established in the premises of the Old Presidency, situated at the Mall Road
A competition winning project designed by Abbasy & Associates HEC approved project is establishing Campus II (2300 Kanal) at Chakri Road. Presently the new campus would have two Academic Blocks, one hostel & administration block with allied facilities, The 2 Academic Blocks would have which includes, 6 Departments Biotechnology, Botany, Physics, Electronics, Commerce and Law.
In future there will be 18 Academic Blocks Buildings. Academic Blocks building is a 3 storey building with a design of an open landscape central courtyard. The facade of the building produces self-shade with the character of semi curved feature & vertical rib walls. Most Buildings contain red bricks which saet them apart from other constructions and add to their asthetic appeal. These "Gutka" or face bricks are created with unique methods & materials. It also provides fire-resistance & insulated shielding to the building which shields it from outside temperature changes.

In future there will be 12 Hostel Buildings. The Girls Hostel Block is a home to approximate 302 students with dormitory rooms spread across 3 floor levels. In addition to hosting ancillary spaces like a pantry, recreational areas as well as social spaces. Girls Hostel building is standing with the natural landscape having well deep windows all around which produce character in the building also provide shade for the window during rain & summer.
Similarly, thick walls are designed to act as thermal buffers and reduce heat gain through the building envelope. These features remind us that we need only look to our past to create design frameworks for our present and future needs.
National Centre for Failure Analysis

The building is two storey with square floor plan have large size labs and workshop. The outer facade of the building is having pigmented concrete with colour pigments surface. Thought fully planed the windows all reses and placed modern steel frame to give elegant look clear facade and provide shade during summer. Double glazed windows are designed with insulated walls. Institute of Space Technology (ISTI following its vision of establishing state of the art Centers of Excellence which would chart a path across all the academic departments/programs of our institute, established Failure Analysis Center (FAC) in March 2013, which has now been upgraded to a national level facility "National Center for Failure Analysis (NCFA)". NCFA will not only provide a place for research to all the faculty and PhD/ MS scholars, but will also be a resource for providing solutions of materials related services to local industry and various defense and strategic organizations. This initiative is expected to fill a large void, as services being offered at NCFA are currently not available in the country under a single umbrella.
